What We Built
An order metabox exchanges tickets atomically: cancel the old ticket, issue the new one, split multi-qty lines when needed, optionally email the new ticket, and log history—without inventing a second order.
Result
Box office moves customers to the right ticket type without corrupting order math, while refunds or upcharges stay a deliberate staff decision.
