We built Checkout Policy so WooCommerce stores can require policy acknowledgements at Place order, store auditable consent on the order, and give staff a clear evidence trail when disputes appear.
The Project
Challenge
Stores needed multiple policies, required vs optional acknowledgements, and timestamps that survive chargebacks. Native Woo terms did not capture label snapshots or staff-friendly evidence exports.
What We Built
Checkout Policy renders configurable checkboxes on classic and Blocks checkout, validates before Place order, stores UTC acknowledgements with label/URL snapshots, and adds admin dispute tools plus CSV export.
Result
Shoppers acknowledge the right policies; staff open an order and see copyable proof instead of reconstructing what the checkbox said months ago.
